The Hunter’s Mindset
This isn’t just about hunting. It’s about refusing to quit the chase.
We’re not here to pretend we’re still 25.
We’ve got the scars, surgeries, and stories to prove we’re not.
New knees, rebuilt hips, chronic pain, or nagging health problems—we’ve earned them.
But we’re not done.
The hunting media world is packed with guys in their 30s talking gear, tactics, and going deep.
But where are the stories of the 50-year-old packing out elk with a replaced hip?
Where’s the blueprint for the 60-year-old learning to shoot a bow after a heart scare?
Where’s the guide for the 70-year-old still dropping tags and pushing forward?
This is that place.
The Hunter’s Mindset is built for the driven few who refuse to be sidelined by age, injury, or excuses.
We believe that “hunting hard” doesn’t stop at 40, 50, or even 70.
It just means something different—and in many ways, something deeper.
We train smart.
We build back better.
We hunt with purpose.
And we do it with like minded people—holding each other accountable, sharing stories, and redefining what strength looks like season after season.
This isn’t a support group.
It’s a proving ground.
A place to rise. To reclaim. To push forward.
To pass down what we’ve earned—and hunt like hell while we still can.
You don’t need sympathy.
You need a system.
You need a standard.
You need a crew that gets it.
If you’re still dreaming about backcountry ridges...
Still itching to drop a tag in the drawer...
Still walking into the woods when everyone else is slowing down...
Then you’re already one of us.
If you're still chasing the hunt—even when the joints ache, the calendar's packed, or your body’s not what it used to be—you're not alone.
I'm not an expert. Hell, I started late—with two replaced hips, a rebuilt knee, and more bad days than good ones sometimes.
But I’m still moving forward. Still figuring it out. Still refusing to quit.
This newsletter is where I share what I’m learning—real training wins, mindset shifts, hard truths, and stories from others who won’t hang it up just because things got harder.
It’s free. But it’s not for everyone.
